Verses
{"After saying these things, Jesus crossed the Kidron Valley with his disciples and entered a grove of olive trees. Judas, the betrayer, knew this place, because Jesus had often gone there with his disciples. The leading priests and Pharisees had given Judas a contingent of Roman soldiers and Temple guards to accompany him. Now with blazing torches, lanterns, and weapons, they arrived at the olive grove." John 18:1-3 NLT}{"The disciples looked at each other, wondering whom he could mean." John 13:22 NLT}{Jesus fully realized all that was going to happen to him, so he stepped forward to meet them. “Who are you looking for?” he asked. John 18:4 NLT}{“Jesus the Nazarene,” they replied. “I AM He,” Jesus said. (Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.) As Jesus said “I AM He,” they all drew back and fell to the ground! John 18:5-6 NLT}{“Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.” Philippians 2:9-10 NLT}{Once more he asked them, “Who are you looking for?” And again they replied, “Jesus the Nazarene.” “I told you that I am he,” Jesus said. John 18:7-8 NLT}{“Then Simon Peter drew a sword and slashed off the right ear of Malchus, the high priest’s slave.” John 18:10 NLT}{But Peter took him aside and began to reprimand him for saying such things. “Heaven forbid, Lord,” he said. “This will never happen to you!” Matthew 16:22 NLT}{Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” Matthew 16:23 NLT}{Jesus said, “No more of this.” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.”
Luke 22:51 NLT}{“Shall I not drink from the cup of suffering the Father has given me?” John 18:11 NLT}
