PRAYER IS THE BEST REFLECTION OF WHAT I BELIEVE ABOUT GOD.

THREE LIES I BELIEVED ABOUT GOD THAT MADE PRAYER SUCH A STRUGGLE:

1. GOD IS HISTORICAL WITH MY SIN.
2. FEAR THAT GOD WILL MAKE ME DO WHAT I DON’T WANT TO DO.
3. GOD IS GOING TO DO WHAT GOD IS GOING TO DO SO WHY PRAY?

THREE TRUTHS ABOUT GOD THAT COMPEL ME TO PRAY:

1. GOD HAS NOT ONLY FORGIVEN MY SIN BUT HE HAS REMOVED IT FROM ME.
2. GOD IS LOVE.  HIS LOVE 'EXPELS' ALL FEAR.
3. GOD USES THE PRAYERS OF HIS PEOPLE TO ACCOMPLISH HIS WILL.
