PSALM 150
August 07, 2022 | Michael Davis
"Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven! Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the LORD! Praise the LORD!" Psalm 150:1-6 (NLT)
For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people." 2 Corinthians 6:16 (NLT)
“Men spontaneously praise whatever they value.”
C.S. Lewis - Reflections on the Psalms
“I think we delight to praise what we enjoy because the praise not merely expresses but completes the enjoyment… the delight is incomplete till it is expressed.”
C.S. Lewis – Reflections on the Psalms
