Passage: Acts 22:4
Notes
Heart behind 'The Greatest Stories Ever Told' -
God is still moving and He’s inviting you to move with Him!
Four things God's been teaching me throughout this series:
1. God wants you to be part of His Story.
2. No one is ruled out from being used by God in His Story.
3. His Story is where you are today not where you might be one day.
"God does not want to use you one day, He wants to use you today."
"Rather than wait for a better season to see God – God wants me and those around me to see Him in the season I’m in today."
4. God loves rewriting stories!
"Every interruption will look different because every interruption is meant to get your attention, not someone else’s."
Verses
{“And I persecuted the followers of the Way, hounding some to death, arresting both men and women and throwing them in prison.” Acts 22:4 NLT}{“You know what I was like when I followed the Jewish religion—how I violently persecuted God’s church. He laid his hands on him and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized.” Acts 9:17-18 NLT}{“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Romans 6:4 NLT}{Saul stayed with the believers in Damascus for a few days.
