“LORD, if this is the HOME that you have been preparing GENESIS for… if this HOME is truly from You for your church, then everything that needs to happen to get us to CLOSING, please let it be.”
This has been and will continue to be my prayer… and if you would, I’d love to have you join me in praying this. We’ve already seen God answer so MANY prayers regarding 11 State St. over the past seven weeks, but we’re not there just yet, so let’s KEEP PRAYING.
This past Sunday evening at the FAMILY MEETING, for the first time, we were able to present in great detail what we believe the LORD is entrusting to GENESIS with 11 State St. If you were not able to attend, you can watch the video of that gathering HERE.
More than just a space, 11 State St. represents two things…
a REMINDER & INVITATION.
THE REMINDER…
The LORD began a new thing when GENESIS was established as a church on September 1st, 2009. Whether you have been part of GENESIS for all 5,636 days or just a handful of days, we ALL have a testimony that the LORD has been exceedingly good and kind and gracious. As we look back, we have story after story of God faithfully providing for His people every step of the way.
Let’s allow His past goodness and provision fuel our faith as we respond to His invitation.
THE INVITATION…
The work the LORD began 5,636 days ago, well, HE IS NOT DONE.
There are more people to still meet and follow Jesus.
There are more people who need to experience and encounter His love.
There are more people who need help walking with the One who created them to walk with Him.
GENESIS… what Jesus started 5,636 days ago, well, HE IS NOT DONE, and I believe that He is inviting ALL of us to be part of His ongoing work.
HERE’S MY POINT…
11 State St. is just a building… don’t get me wrong, it’s a PHENOMENAL building but at the end of the day, it’s just a building.
But here’s the thing, WE BELIEVE this building was handpicked by the LORD for us. And because of that belief, we whole-heartedly believe that Jesus will use this space to accomplish His ongoing work in our midst.
And this is where you and I have the privilege of preparing this space for the sacred and beautiful work that we are being invited into.
As you read through a DETAILED walk-through of expenses related to 11 State St., simply be praying…
