Jane Mulcahy
KIDS DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Jane has lived in New England all her life, and she can’t leave because she is way too invested in the Boston Bruins. While waiting around for the Bruins to win the Stanley cup she has finished homeschooling 2/5 of her kids; she’s still working on the other three. She has been able to do this through the grace of God and with the help of her husband John. Jane and John have been married for over 25 years. Though Jane would rather live somewhere warm and tropical, it’s easier to see the Bruins in Boston, so she’s decided to stay here.
A few of Jane’s favorite things are cinnamon bears, running 5ks, the Queen of England (Elizabeth not Camilla), napping, Mary Poppins, and teaching kids about Jesus. Through her many years working in children’s ministry leadership and her time in education, she’s experienced everything: from teaching college courses and organizing programs for hundreds of kids, to counting out googly eyes and dancing on stage, she’s done it.
A few things Jane does not like are: smelly foods, the cold, shoes with poor arch support, the Florida Panthers, and hiking (it’s just walking uphill). If you’d like to know more about Queen Elizabeth, or perhaps bemoan the New England winter, let her know! She loves getting to know other people, especially those who also start wearing winter coats in September.
