Lori Marcotte
Executive Director of Ministries
Born and raised in Melrose, Lori loves the outdoors and cannot imagine living more than 30 minutes from the ocean. An imperfect woman chasing after God’s own heart, her sanity is often saved by an early morning workout, time with God, and a good cup of coffee. She lives in Reading with her husband Jim, a teenage son who keeps them busy with sport commitments, and a Border Collie. One daughter is married and has blessed them with a granddaughter, and their other daughter is in college.
Lori enjoys good conversation, a game of Cribbage (which she often wins), painting (preferably by the ocean), baking scones, and eating black raz ice cream with jimmies (translated for non-Bostonians as black raspberry ice cream which chocolate sprinkles). She may not know about the latest Netflix show or movie, but she can explain why a tomato is both a fruit and a vegetable. She loves family vacations on the Cape and is known to occasionally break out in dance in the safety of their kitchen.
